Another P1:8 Haiti Team traveled to Haiti from July 28-Aug 2, 2009. Christina Brossette, Chris Brossette, Greg Miller, and Jim Fries joined Pastor Frank and Sister Nicole Alfriede (from Homstead FL), Cody Whitaker (who will be moving with his family to Haiti this fall), and other believers from churches in the Miami area and in Haiti at the Camp Coq village. The team helped with a week long "revival" of sorts as people from the nearby churches convened at Camp Coq for a week of worship services, VBS, leadership training, evangelism, and fellowship. The LifeBridge team also looked at future projects we could undertake to assist the church/orphanage/school in Camp Coq and to help them reach out to people in the village who don't have a relationship with Jesus Christ.

During this trip we hiked into the mountains around Camp Coq to pray with people and share the love of Christ with them. We discovered many people (primarily women and children) who lived in desperate conditions. You can see some of the people, places, and dwellings in the photo album below.

Please continue to pray for the people of Camp Coq and the country of Haiti. We will have opportunities for you to join us on future trips so you can witness firsthand (and minister in person) to people who have great needs--physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
