In July the Madison P1:8 Team took food to the Madison Fire Station on Old Canton Road. Firefighters were treated to smoked wild hog and all the fixings and they really enjoyed it! We had a call from one of the firefighters who said, “We were on a call when you all came by. We arrived back to find a ton of food in our kitchen. It was outstanding and we really appreciate it very much. If we can ever do anything to help you please let us know! Once again thank you very much for the great food. Have a great week!”

On August 5 the team provided sweet treats to the teachers and staff at Madison Station.

And just before school began a number of people handed out water bottles at the “Meet the Teacher” night at Madison Station.
